COURSE STRUCTURE
The course incorporates four weekends as well as a five days retreat. The weekends each start Fridays at 6pm and end Sundays at 4pm.
Every day begins with the Sadhana, a spiritual discipline. In Naad Yoga, Sadhana consists of breathing exercises and singing.
Also on a daily basis, a training of the essentials in the three methods of hearing, singing and rhythm takes place.
In order to practice these newly acquired methods a DVD course will be handed out.
The six DVDs with vocal and rhythmic exercises were created by Professor Surinder Singh, director of the Raj Academy London.
Each weekend is dedicated to a certain age group and its particular requirements. This part of the course will be about age-appropriate
implementation of the methods and about the learning of a variety of age -appropriate songs, rhythms, dances, games and Yoga exercises.
Although the technical training of methods continues during the retreat, its main focus lies in the development of the participants’ personal growth.
Features of this will be stress management, embracement of the inner child, enhancement of the hearing ability, speaking and acting from the heart
as well as both the detecting of and holding on to projections.
My venerated teacher Prof Surinder Singh, master of Naad Yoga and head of the Raj Academy London,
will be present at times to give support and make suggestions in his inimitably loving and humorous way.
CERTIFICAT
At the end of the retreat it is possible to acquire the certificate “Naad Yoga Teacher for Children and Young People”.
Alongside a musical presentation, the undertaking of a creative task in a small group is expected.
The certificate is approved of and recognised by the Raj Academy London, the biggest school for spiritual north Indian music worldwide.
